Stouffville Yankees Midget AA Pitcher Spencer Krabi throws a no Hitter

The Stouffville Yankees Midget Rep AA team are off to a 8-0-1 record in the York Simcoe Baseball Association and were led by starting pitcher Spencer Krabi who threw the first no hitter In Stouffville history. The game was hosted Monday night by Bloordale of the Toronto Baseball Association as the Yankees went onto win the game 11-0. Krabi threw an efficient 69 pitches in 6 innings, walking one and hitting another while it was a quiet night for the outfielders as all the outs were recorded by strikeout or ground-out. Coach George Karanopoulos remarked that it was history in the making as it is Stouffville's first no hitter and also commended catcher Blake Randorf for his efforts behind the plate in catching some nasty curveballs.

Stouffville is presently in first place in the YSBA plays at Bethesda diamond on Wed July 4th vs North York at 8:30pm.
