Annual General Meeting – Saturday February 22

Please be advised that the Annual General Meeting for 2024 will be taking place as follows:

Date: Saturday, February 22, 2025

Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Place: Clippers Arena (2nd floor multi-purpose room)

Address: 120 Weldon Rd, Stouffville ON

 

The annual general meeting is held annually to review the previous year and for the membership to establish new positions on the board.  The following Director positions are up for re-election:

• Three (3) director positions with three (3) year terms.
• Two (2) director positions with two (2) year terms.

As per the SBA Bylaws, to be eligible to serve as a Director, an individual must:

1. Be eighteen (18) years of age or older;
2. Not have been found under the Substitute Decisions Act, 1992 or under the Mental Health Act to be incapable of managing property;
3. Have not been declared incapable by a court in Canada or in another country;
4. Not have the status of bankrupt.
5. Not be in a position of influence with another baseball organization, as determined by the Board, including, but not limited to, a volunteer, coach, or as a Director.

 

Any members wishing to volunteer on the board must submit a single page document outlining their abilities to contribute in a not-for-profit organization by no later than Saturday February 15, 2025 and must email their application to info@stouffvillebaseball.com

 

All applications submitted on time will be considered for nomination.  The Stouffville Baseball Association will NOT accept any applications after the due date.
