Call for Volunteers For Vacant Board of Directors Position

The Stouffville Baseball Association wishes to inform the members that a member of the board has resigned.  We are now looking for interested volunteers to be nominated as a replacement for this Director position on the board.

 

As per section 4.5 of the SBA bylaws, to be eligible to serve as a Director, an individual must:

1. Be eighteen (18) years of age or older;
2. Not have been found under the Substitute Decisions Act, 1992 or under the Mental Health Act to be incapable of managing property;
3. Have not been declared incapable by a court in Canada or in another country; and
4. Not have the status of bankrupt.
5. Not be in a position of influence with another baseball organization, as determined by the Board, including, but not limited to, a volunteer, coach, or as a Director.
